Project Overview
JazbYar is a custom recruitment and applicant tracking platform designed and developed for Tara to centralize and streamline the company's hiring process. The platform helps the HR team manage job opportunities, candidate applications, resumes, recruitment stages, and applicant statuses through a structured and easy-to-manage workflow. I was involved in the design and development of the core parts of the system, including the recruitment workflow, applicant management, administrative features, data organization, and user experience. The goal of the project was to replace fragmented recruitment processes with a centralized system that enables the HR team to track candidates more efficiently and manage each stage of the hiring process in a clear and organized way. Technical Challenge
Designing a recruitment management system using Pure PHP without relying on a framework required careful architecture, secure database interactions, session management, validation, and maintainable code organization. Another challenge was structuring applicant, job position, and recruitment-stage data in a way that remained efficient and easy to manage as the system grew.
Solution
The system was implemented with a modular Pure PHP architecture and MariaDB as the relational database. I designed the database structure for job positions, applicants, resumes, recruitment stages, and application statuses, and implemented secure server-side validation and database operations. The administrative workflow was developed to provide the HR team with a centralized environment for managing the entire recruitment process.
